Nude Flats

I’d always choose colorful pieces over boring ol’ nude, beige or brown (I fucking hate brown) but matching colorful clothing with my equally colorful collection of shusies, well, it’s a challenge. So, I took my sister’s advice and began searching for great flats in either black or tan. Just so I don’t have to drive myself crazy trying to find a black top to go with my neon pink flats. I need more options!

I recently bought a great pair of black flats and have been abusing it for days now. As for the nude flats, I already know where to get the perfect nude flats but Anthology shoes are super expensive! I’m hoping they go on a sale or something because they’ve got a great collection of leather flats. Anthology is sort of a premium footwear brand so their shoes sure don’t come cheap.

The quality is fantastic though and they use awesome goodies like fine leathers, non-skid sole and memory foam! I’d love to own a pair! Heh, well, I’m adding these babies on my wishlist and hopefully acquire at least a pair of ’em before next year.

Make Up-ing

I don’t really wear a lot of make-up. Who am I kidding, I don’t wear make-up at all (I just use light powder, blush, teensy bit of concealer and lipstick). Every once in a while, my sister, who’s a make-up junkie, gets into one of her moods where she’d insist on a make over.

So here it is, one of her handiwork. My allergies were acting up and I got really teary eyed towards the end but it was fun :D. I ordered Urban Decay’s Naked Palette 1 and 2 for my sister as a gift, I think I know what she’ll be doing for the rest of December, hahahha!

Frenzy

I’ve been having a bad case of shopping fever as of late. It doesn’t help that my sister and I scour the mall for nice things on a daily basis!
Also, it seems there’s loads of events I need to attend, including weddings and Christenings and I’ve been wanting to throw away all my old clothes and buy new ones. And shoes. And bags. And shades. And maybe a Mac foundie or two. I’ve been looking for basic black pumps since forever and came across this cute classic from Report.

I hate too pointy shoes but this one, I like. Oh, and it also comes in beige though it does not match my skin tone at all. I like how comfy they are and how the height is jusst right. Maybe sometime next month, I’d finally get myself a pair!

I also need to buy a few dresses because I seem to find myself wearing one more and more. But not before I update my whole closet, ahihihihihih!

Shady

I need a proper pair of shades and since I love anything old, only a pair of classic Ray-ban aviators will do! They cost 7K here in the tropics and I’ve already seen the one I like though it’s not the one in the picture but it’s close. Buying one perhaps in January 🙂 Yay!

Beachin' Weekend

Just got back from a really fun weekend out on the beach with several friendsslashdrinkingbuddies. We got to Matabungakay beach very late, like around 11 in the evening and settled in way past midnight. There were loads of laughter, baklaan and inappropriate jokes. Fabulous!

After a (brief) day out in the sun and inadvertently pouring sunscreen lotion all over my eyeballs, we spent the wee hours of the morning drinking, eating, sharing tips on how to improve our social skills and made the most out of the videoke treat by Hannah and Karen! The food is awesome too and I was being a bad girl, eating carbs (though not a lot of it) and smoking up a storm but I’m totally gonna make up for it, promise hahahah!

Oh, yeah, and we had one of my couple friends’ friend give us a ride. It was convenient and more fun than going there by bus 🙂 After hearing raves about our recent trip at Stilts resort in nearby Calatagan, we also planned another weekend getaway in January! Yay, something to look forward to! Can’t wait!

Sick Pusikati

It’s been such a stressful week but I’m glad to see some semblance of normalcy in the Dimitri Balor. Our beloved pusakat, Di, got really, really sick last weekend. It took numerous trips to the vet and loads of pills and hand-feeding to get him back to his normal, perky self. Yes, we used hot compress to ease his stomach and leg pains. Long story.

So he’s pretty much okay now. He’s been dirty and miserable for weeks that he was just given his first bath today and we’re so relieved. Personally, I’m glad he got well just in time for my beach getaway with friends. I’d hate to leave home and worry about him while I’m gone!

Later today I will head out to Makati to meet the boyf and then head out somewhere to meet my friends for a much needed break at the beach! It’s the first time in a long time that I get to go out on an out of town trip with friends and I’m super pumped! Now if only I can stop myself from writing nonsense drivel and get actual work done so I can start packing, lol!
